Google Dialogflow CX Tips&Tricks #1
Cloning an agent
I used to clone a digital assistant in Oracle Digital Assistant by simply clicking on the “clone” option.
In Google Dialogflow CX, cloning is less trivial.
Step 1 : export the agent you want to clone.
Even if you have 2 options to export your agent, Cloud storage or Local file, I’d recommend to use a Google Cloud storage to keep a backup in the cloud and to avoid an error if your agent is large.
Step 2 : Once you have exported your agent, create the new agent.
Once the agent is created, click on the Agent list to view all agents
Select the “Restore” option to replace the agent’s resources with those in the export file.
Once the agent is restored, your new agent contains the resources of the exported agent.
